from Masaya to Mombacho

Day 1 of our travels has taken us to Granada. Personally I'm partial to Masaya, but Granada is a nice city as well. It's very colonial, pretty, and touristy. Tonight at supper we entertained ourselves by trying to guess the ethnicity of the people walking past us. Lots of foreigners.

This afternoon we went on an "Isletas" tour. Beautiful islands in the lake of Nicaragua. In the background is the Volcan Mombacho.



I don't think I'd ever get sick of the palm trees and volcanoes.
